Who are we?

We got together in the magical year of 2000 in a company of the magical personality of Jana Ulrichova and under her leadership we re- discovered the enchantment of visual art.

The name Pecka originates from a joke - Once we get out of a closet with our works it's going to be a "pecka"- meaning a loud sound like that of a petard or a "big bang"

The content of our meetings gradually came to a stale state and it was the visit of a friend - A visual artist from Sydney (our overseas member) that prompted us to think along the lines of our long term direction. She suggested that this was no joke and indeed we would present our works.
